The Community Fridge and Freezer is usually stocked with a good range of fresh and frozen food that you can take for free.
The goal is to reduce the amount of food waste being thrown away, and in less than a year the project has ‘saved’ two tonnes of food.
Food comes from local businesses and producers and the project is managed and maintained mostly by volunteers.
